Daniela's Story

Daniela DeCastro is a Reiki Master, Spiritual Medium, Channeler, Psychic, and Healer.

Her family recognized her gifts from an early age. Daniela had an eventful early childhood that in hindsight was necessary for her to arrive at the place she is now spiritually and in her career. Her memories span back to when she was 6 to 9 months old which is highly unusual to have memories prior to developing speech. She remembers that before she was able to talk audibly, she would have an internal dialogue with full sentences! Too young to talk but the language had formulated!

At the age of 4, Daniela’s Grandmothers on both sides had died 6 weeks apart. At only 4 years of age, she would not have known her Grandmothers very well but she often astounded her parents and older sister with information that she couldn’t have known. When asked she would say “Grandma told me!” Her Grandpa died before she was born and yet she was aware of him checking in on her every night standing in her bedroom doorway.

Her childhood home was never quiet. Some would say it was haunted. As a 4-year-old, Daniela was indeed quite scared of the noise, chatter and various anomalies around the house such as TVs and radios turning on and off randomly and fluctuating in volume. Her mother who worked nights at the time would be snoozing on the couch while Daniela kept having to wake her frequently due to footsteps, strange noises and voices while no one else was physically present in the house. Her Mother at the time would console her by saying “It’s just the house settling”.

As the years progressed, so did the paranormal activity. Daniela remained in her family home right up until she had gotten married. She even lived for a short period in the house with her former husband. Through the years, many spirits and energies engaged with her. There was much mischief too as items such as jewelry would go missing all the time. Sometimes things were moved from one place to another, sometimes they would disappear only to reappear on the garden path and occasionally things would vanish forever!

As a child, Daniela would sometimes question her sanity in the light of all this activity but her siblings and friends would also have experiences. This gave Daniela the much-needed validation.
